Thanks so much for the chance to win! One thing we did every year was to get together with my dad’s family and play Pictionary. Even before many of us could read our own clues. It was a gathering we always looked forward to.
Every December we get together with my mother in law and sister (who is also my sister in law!) and have a cookie baking day! It is a lot of fun, we divide up everything and share with all of our neighbors!
Before we moved to the desert this year, we would always go to into the forest behind our house to look for our Christmas tree. It was one of my favorite traditions.
We have started a new tradition this year of reading a Christmas book for each day of Dec 1-24, as a count down to Christmas. We try to find ones that tell something about the Christmas story. We’ve always enjoyed advent stories and trees and this new addition just adds to that. Thanks for the chance to win one of your beautiful prints!
I love having family over for Christmas Dinner!

Your prints are gorgeous. I really like Keep Your Heart-Chalkboard Bible Verse
Our children are now young adults and new traditions are being made. But we still go to church and are in dramas and the choir at church.
We bake many cookies for gifts.
My favorite tradition is the Christmas Eve celebration we have with my entire family — it always lasts late into the night, and I think we all feel more joy during that evening than at any other time the whole year!
We always have a big Christmas dinner with the whole family!
One of my favorite Christmas traditions is giving and receiving an ornament each year, so that each one of us has a growing collection of their own unique ornaments. Whenever we decorate our tree there is lots of reminiscing :)
We love taking walks in the woods, sitting by the fire, drinking hot chocolate, and lots more baking as the days get shorter. Your art is beautiful!
Decorating the tree is my favorite tradition.
We add an ornament to our tree each year symbolising something from the year thats been. I love looking at the collection!
One of my favorites is when we are all together decorating the Christmas tree with music on, and we always have chocolate mint cookies!!! :)
A newish tradition we have started is baking christmas cookies with my mom and grandma. Such a fun way to spend time together!
Getting together as a church for a worship service.
I’ve been making the same cutout cookies for over 40 yrs. Always find someone to decorate them with me. Now that the kids are grown, I call up the grandkids to come over..always lots of laughter and talking while Christmas music is playing.
Decorating the tree together is always fun, and since the kids are grown they come over and we still do it together!
My favorite tradition is st nick day. We live in the US so it was unique and stayed the Christmas celebration!
One of my favorite traditions around this time of year is when we set up our little light-up Christmas village in the dinning room. It looks like a village that came out of a Victorian novel complete with a lovely lighthouse, and carolers. :)
What a lovely giveaway, and hope whoever wins is blessed by your beautiful work dear.
Blessings,
Miss Antoinette
We always went to the desert for a bonfire… but now that I’m back in the US, we get to start our own traditions! One I’m already thinking of is making Wassail for Christmas day. :)
Reading advent stories year after year to remind us of the story of Jesus through out the holiday season.
My favourite tradition is listening to Christmas records with my mum while we decorate the tree.
One of my favorite family traditions is watching The Nativity Story with my family on Christmas Eve. :)
Thanks for hosting this awesome giveaway!!

Gingerbread houses with my little ones. :)
I love reading Christmas themed stories with my kids. I have really enjoyed Advent readings in the last few years also. Keeping our focus on the reason for this season is a priority.
I spend the night with my grandsons on Christmas Eve.
I love your work! My girls are getting For Such A Time As This for Christmas, cannot wait for them to open it! One of our favorite traditions is a huge Italian meal my Nonna makes and the entire family gets together to share it. Also, we’ve begun taking a walk on Christmas Eve to look at the Christmas lights, it’s fun. Thanks for doing a giveaway!
Beautiful prints! One of my favorite traditions is reading the Christmas story on Christmas eve. It is so special, because my grandpa used to read it, then my dad, my brother and now my 9 year old son.
I love your art…so beautiful. Thanks for the giveaway.
Traditions? Probably baking Christmas cut-out cookies and decorating them.
Your artwork is beautiful and I’m glad to see this come across the giveaway screen so I now know of your shop! Favorite tradition for us is that my little bro and I host Christmas Eve and Christmas day dinners (and all family in town for them) each year. We swap the days. It’s so loud and fun and crazy crowded.
On Christmas Eve our family pulls out the best china and has the same horsdoeuvres every year. We read the Christmas story, sing some carols and open gifts. It’s the night the married girls didn’t want to miss this year so that’s when they will join us!
your pieces are wonderful. I love the one called “library.”
my favorite tradition is to drive to our mountains and pick out our Christmas tree.
My favorite Christmas tradition is getting and decorating the Christmas tree; I love how it brings the whole family together, and I love how it instantly brings Christmas into the home.
I absolutely love your drawings! In fact, I just received your “Adventure Awaits” print. I purchased it during your recent sale and I love it! It’s going to go in my little boys room and it’s amazing how perfectly it fits my little men, even the boys hair colors in the print match theirs. Anyways, can you tell I’m excited about it?!?! :-)
As for our traditions for Christmas…..we always read or listen to the story of Jesus’ birth on Christmas day and listen to all the old Christmas hymns. Then we love to take a walk around town to check out the houses all decorated for Christmas. I’m excited for our kiddos to get older so they can become even more involved in all the prep and excitement of the season. It’s one of my favorite times of the year for sure! :-)
Your prints are beautiful!
We’ve started a tradition of advent calendars with our kids – I made a reusable wooden calendar with a kit and my hubs and I fill each day’s box with Bible verses and little treats or Christmas ornaments. :)
I have two small children, and it’s a tradition in our house that when the tree goes up on December 1st we place 24 wrapped books underneath, one for each night in the lead up to Christmas. It’s our version of an advent calendar. Each night the children take turns to select a book to open and read together as a family. Some of the books are old favourites, others are new, either gifted from relatives or purchased from second hand shops or markets.
I love the Tree House and Summer Berries! They remind me of my kiddos. I try to have the kids help a little with small handmade gifts for everyone. This year I canned jams and they decorated the lids.
We always make some of the decorations on our tree. This year we dried oranges, last year we strung popcorn, the year before that we made salt dough handprints. I have one of your prints and it is the most treasured art in my home. I also have both your illustrated books – they are beautiful!
How much fun!! Our family makes homemade waffles on Christmas morning. We stick candles in them and sing Happy Birthday to our King. That’s probably my favorite Christmas tradition that we have, although it’s one of many!
I like to put Christmas decorations up with the children.
Hi there! What a great giveaway!
Thanks for the chance to win!
I’m so blessed to have 3 little kids. Its so fun to see them light up at the magic of Christmas at their young ages. Being with family is such a wonderful gift.
My most favorite tradition at Christmas time other than baking is going to Midnight Mass Christmas Eve.
Oh, Breezy, your work takes me breath away! I am thrilled to find you and look forward to seeing how God uses the gifts He’s given you! My favorite Christmas tradition as a child was going to the Christmas Eve candlelight service. The wonder and awe of Jesus coming into our world thrilled my heart. After the service we would quietly move to the live nativity scene.
I love your etsy shop! I have had your “Storyteller” print on my favorites for a long time. One of my favorite holiday traditions that we started last year was playing Bingo as a family at night. It was a lot of fun. :)
What lovely artwork!
My favourite thing is decorating the tree :)
Merry Crhistmas!
What a lovely giveaway. I always look forward to the first of December when it’s time to start driving the kids crazy with Christmas carols and songs, all the time ;o)
Oh, thank you for your giveaway!
Each year I’m making fortune-telling candies for the Christmas Season and give them away to everyone:) And I usually put the virtual version of these candies on my blog as well:)
Nataliya
WOW…what a fabulous giveaway! I love all the food.
When we make our gingerbread house, we do up a ‘kit’ for another family and gift it to them. We choose a different family each year.
The wearing of the paper crowns from Christmas crackers is goofy but so much fun every year. Love the art print Great giveaway Thanks
A tradition from my own childhood that we’ve carried over into our family ~ new pajamas on Christmas Eve.
We start decorating and celebrating the day after Thanksgiving. I just really love the whole season, the traditions and the unexpected. I would love to win one of your beautiful illustrations!
My family takes turns opening gifts on Christmas morning. I love this because it helps us to slow down and really appreciate our time together.
Having turkey and homemade noodles is my favorite tradition.
Thanks for the giveaway!
Your etsy shop is full of beautiful prints; it would be almost impossible to choose a favorite. I love our family tradition of making sugar cookies.
We sleep in on Christmas day, then we make a special brunch with lots of food that usually includes a homemade treat we do not eat very often like cinnamon rolls or donuts. Our day is usually a relaxed day spent as a family…….such a blessing!
We miss your sweet family..,..hug your mom and sister for me. Warm cozy Christmas blessings.
One of my families favorite traditions of this time of year is actually on new years eve when we look through photo books from the previous year and remember all we’ve done together.
How lovely that you’re participating in the giveaways! I know exactly which print I’d pick — I’ve been eyeing it for quite some time!
My favorite Christmas tradition is definitely picking out a tree and “decking the halls” as a family — my husband and I both love live trees and have bought one every Christmas since our marriage. This year our kiddos were old enough to join in the decorating, and it was such a special memory!
Blessings,
Shannon
Thanks for such a lovely giveaway! My favorite Christmas tradition is attending our church’s candlelight Christmas Eve service — with a day making delicious Norwegian lefse with my mom and sisters as a close second!
So many things I love about Christmas! From the day we decorate – usually exhausting but so rewarding – through the weeks of baking and candy making in preparation, to our Christmas Eve where we have a special family fancy dinner with Christmas Eve china we only use that night, leaving early to go to the Christmas Eve service – always such special time! Then of course Christmas morning gift opening, and waiting for other family to arrive in time to have a big traditional dinner. Sharing Christmas with the little nieces and nephews is one of the best things about it – seeing their reactions each year as they grow, and their glowing little eyes.
I love the big Christmas dinner we always prepare.
One of my favorite Christmas traditions is waiting to drink hot chocolate until the day after Thanksgiving when we get out Christmas tree. I also really like it that we always watch It’s A Wonderful Life and A Charlie Brown Christmas at this time of year!
Thank you so very much for this giveaway opportunity! I deeply admire your painting style.
Love the print! My favorite Christmas tradition was when my mom made Chex Party Mix from scratch–smelling the warm butter and Worcestershire sauce…mmmm!!
Oh so beautiul prints!Preparing for Christmas is gorgeous!
I love Christmas! My tradition is making Chrsitmas ornaments out of felt every year. I used to buy a new ornament every year but the last couple of years I make my own out of felt.
AriadnefromGreece!
I’m so glad you entered this giveaway, I’ve added you to my etsy favorites! My favorite tradition is cutting down and decorating the Christmas tree. It’s always a family affair and we all love doing it.
My fave tradition is church on Christmas Eve. So right.
One of my family’s favorite Christmas tradition is sending a box (s) to a poor family in Michigan. Everybody gets into it–it is so much fun to buy things for someone else!!!
One of my favorite Christmas traditions is going to our church’s Christmas Eve candlelight service. It’s always a special time to gather together as a Body and celebrate Christ!
I think decorating the tree is my favorite. It doesn’t take long with three kids helping, but it just warms my heart.
About 20 years ago, my mom began a new tradition on Christmas Eve. We would attend our local Christmas Eve service and then come home to Vegetable Cheese Chowder and deli type sandwiches. We’d have a few goodies and then we usually got to open one gift that evening. Even though I have my own family now and have moved away, we try to keep the tradition.
One of our traditions would be spending Black Friday decorating the house for Christmas. Something else we usually do is get together with a special friend to make Christmas cookies.
Every year after Thanksgiving, we decorated our house for Christmas and we start listening to Christmas music. My daughter requests hot chocolate and start to get super excited about all the wonderful things that happen about this time ( plays, recital, friends,..)
My favorite Christmas tradition is making my family homemade gifts every year. My son collects Santas, and he only likes the one I’ve made for him. The kids love them too. They’re 26 now, but I think they loved the homemade gifts almost more when they were small.
My favorite tradtion is decorating the tree and opening one present on christmas eve night
I hope I win these they are the best.
Emily
I’d have to say my favorite tradition is visiting our local indie craft fair with my sister. We make a day of it – going to brunch together and then head over to support our favorite local, handmade businesses by stocking up on holiday gifts. It’s so much fun!
We love to snuggle up under heaps of blankets and quilts and watch white Christmas with mugs of peppermint ice cream- yum! Merry Christmas!
Was I to win one of your prints I would have the hardest time choosing!! I love the one with the kids in the tree house but I also love the one where the mom is reading and the amazing red and white quilt!
My favorite tradition growing up was to visit the town about an hour away that is known as the “City of Lights” in my state, Louisiana. I now live in this town and get to enjoy seeing the lights all of December and half of November!
One of my favorite Christmas traditions is eating homemade cinnamon rolls on Christmas morning. :)
We always opened all our gifts Christmas morning, but when we were younger it was a mad dash from stockings to all the presents under the tree. There were 8 of us kids and we could have everything opened before it was even light outside. When we got older we made it a tradition to stop and eat breakfast after opening the stockings – pancakes or waffles or something else warm and delicious – to make our morning last longer. The rest of the day was spent playing boardgames and eating leftovers from the large dinner the night before. (Because Mom didn’t want to spend all Christmas day in the kitchen, she wanted to play games too!)
Wow love your artwork! I like to bake cookies at holiday time
We love singing carols around the piano.
We all go to the midnight service on Christmas eve and come back home for mince pies and mulled wine
One of my favorite traditions is making Christmas cookies with my grandma + mom and sisters.
Your work is beautiful! We are still trying to find our traditions as a young family and struggling to balance that with family expectations. But we always have new pyjamas on Christmas eve!
One of my favorite Christmas traditions is attending a Christmas Eve service and singing Christmas hymns with other Bible believers.
One of my favorite traditions is hanging the ornaments on the tree – so many memories!!
One of my favorite traditions is our trim-the-tree party, with hot apple cider and orange danish rolls. Yum!
We each pick a name from a hat, not telling each other who we picked, and then we become that persons “secret angel”. This involves occasionally leaving treats on their pillow, secretly doing their chores, and making a scrapbook page that depicts the events of that persons year. Makes for a lovely collection of memories and puts the focus on others instead of ourselves!
My favorite Holiday tradition is our families yearly Mexican food dinner on Christmas Eve. We have so much good food and such a wonderful time together!
Very generous! My daughter would love these.:) My favorite tradition this time of year is making sugar cookies and Christmas Eve snacks with my kids.
Favorite Christmas traditions… wow! So many! To name a few:
Caroling… drinking eggnog and opening stockings on Christmas Eve… having a family from out of the state come visit… wearing our pajamas for most of Christmas day… making favorite foods that only happen “once a year”. :-)
our family holds a caroling party; i love it!
I love reading Twas the Night Before Christmas on Christmas Eve just before going to bed.
Our annual tradition is having the “kids” (in their late 20s/early 30s now) produce a Christmas program for the rest of the family…songs, readings, music, etc. We have pictures of when they were little, little ones–such memories! The programs get better and more elaborate as the years go by, and I would truly miss not having this tradition as part of our Christmas Eve festivities.
I’d love to win one of your prints!
I love doing the advent candles.
One of my favorite Christmas traditions is watching Christmas movies throughout the season. My mom and I especially enjoy all the Hallmark Christmas movies. Two of our favorites to watch this season are Elf and The Santa Clause.
We do so many things at Christmas time, but here are some of my favorites:
– our version of St. Nicholas Day which involves, rhyming riddles and girls running through the house try to find the location the riddle is sending them to
– find and cutting the “perfect” Christmas tree, especially when we get to do it in the National Forest and just a tree farm
– the Jotham series of Advent stories read at dinner time
– our morning Advent project which normally focuses on the names/attributes of God or the Jessie Tree
– all the crafting, creating, baking, … as my girls make most of the presents they give
This weekend is my family’s annual Candy Day. It actually 3 days of baking.
Hello Breezy and Merry Christmas early! :) I’ve enjoyed your blog and looking at your art very much! :) God’s blessed you with a wonderful talent! :)
Some of our Christmas traditions are reading the Christmas story from one of the Gospels the day we celebrate Christmas, a yummy dinner, and wonderful time spent together with family! :)
Favorite holiday tradition would have to be days before Christmas – St. Nicholas day. Even as my siblings and I near adulthood (the youngest of 4 is 15 and I, the oldest, am 23), we love cuddling up around my mom as see retells the story. We lay out our stockings the night before and when we get up the next morning, we discover “St Nick” has visited with fun surprises. Usually cozy socks, little note pads, new pens, etc and always chocolate coins. Definitely my favorite tradition. :)
We start the day off with new pajamas which we then wear all day!
I love get togethers with family. Especially our trip to visit my family in IL every other year or so. :)
My favorite part about Christmas is decorating for the holidays. My hubby and I listen to Christmas music , I make a holiday dessert, we have hot cocoa, break Christmas crackers and have a lot of fun teasing.each other and hanging out without the tv on
Christmas eve we attend church with my sister’s family and my husband makes clam chowder. It is a lovely quiet time (relatively) when we can enjoy each other and reflect on the nativity before the big family gathering on Christmas day.
I love your Art Prints they are so beautiful.
For me Christmas is about time with family and friends. I especially love the 1st weekend in Advent (4 Sunday’s before Christmas) which is traditionally the weekend we all go home to my parents house to decorate the tree, put up the lights, put out the Angels (my mum collects angels) and spend time with each other eating, playing, laughing and treasuring our family and the joy it brings to our lives. The Christmas season can get crazy so this is an important time for us to centre ourselves and remember what matters.
My favorite Christmas tradition is making cookies with my kids
Umm…my favorite Christmas tradition I guess would be Christmas morning breakfast. We get up and get out a little bit of special glasses and dishes and have a big breakfast all together.
I love decorating gingerbread houses.
Every New Year’s Eve (which for us is still part of the Christmas season!) our family watches BBC’s Pride and Prejudice. I am married now, but my family is coming to visit for the holidays and we plan on continuing the tradition. It wouldn’t be Christmas without Lizzy and Mr. Darcy!
My husbands family swaps filled stockings at Christmas time. So fun!
Our favorite tradition is to make a sweet walnut bread. It’s a delicious European recipe with chocolate & walnut filling. We always make that for Christmas and New Years.
Another absolute favorite tradition is to go Christmas caroling with my family. We go caroling at the entrance of local stores like Wal-Mart, and sing “Ding Dong Merrily on High”, “O Holy Night” and many other carols. Many people passing by have told us that it warms their hearts and brings a smile to their face. It’s a ministry we do for them, but it also ministers to us!
p.s. here is the recipe for the sweet walnut bread: https://heritageofgrace.wordpress.com/2010/12/11/simply-swap-favorite-christmas-recipe/
What beautiful prints! One of our favorite traditions is making all kinds of Christmas cookies!
I always love decorating the tree with family as we listen to our favorite Christmas carols.
We bake cookies and ship them off to loved ones. I was in the middle of doing that last night when the oven broke! Waiting for the repairman now…
One of our favorite traditions is making Scottish shortbread with Dad from an old family recipe. It’s the only time of year we can bring out the bright pink and green food coloring. :)
We love to get and decorate our tree on the day after Thankgiving, and decorate it to the sound of Handel’s Messiah.
YOU are ONE amazing artist!! Love your work. My favorite tradition is that we get together with the extended family for Christmas eve. It’s been going on for years, and it’s become a wonderful time to fellowship with those we don’t see every day. Thanks so much for your amazing giveaway. It’s truly a gift.
Your artwork is beautiful! Thank you for the chance!
One of our favorite traditions is driving around to see Christmas lights after we get the kids all dressed in their jammies and hit the Krispy Kreme! ;)
I love you work- so sweet and beautiful! I love decorating our tree and baking with my kiddos! Thanks so much!
Our young family just moved away from our hometown to a new place (from Ohio to Washington state). We don’t have any family with us for the first year ever, which will be strange, but we are excited to see what traditions develop as we start anew. I have a feeling that my husband and I, along with our three, almost four, children, will enjoy being together and singing songs to the Lord the most. :)
My favorite is that all 3 generations spend the night at one house so we are together for an early Christmas morning. We all live in the same town so it is the only night of the year that we all sleep at the same place.
Gathering first thing xmas morning to open presents. Fortunately now it’s a bit later than the 6am start we used to have!
Hi!
My favorite family tradition is making our traditional German cookies that were passed down for generations in our family.
Summer Berries is a pretty print and reminds me of my children, we celebrate St. Nick’s day on Dec. 6th and the kids put their boots out in front of the door and he comes by to put in some chocolate money, tangerines and a little gift, if they have been good and sticks and coal if they have been bad (somehow they always are on his good list, not sure how that happens, he must not see the flour and play-dough messes).
Our church has a lovely 9 lessons and carols serviec which is always beautiful. It really signals Christmas to me – and it’s this weekend!
what a beautiful print!! this giveaway is amazing. our favorite thing to do during the holidays is to make cookies together and then share them with our friends and neighbors.
I love The Treehouse Print. It’s so full of adventure :) Our Christmas includes driving (or walking with the wagon if it’s not too cold) with the windows down on the car, carols on the radio, bundled up with blankets, and drinking cocoa (coffee for the adults) and looking at the christmas lights in the neighborhoods :)
Stunning work! I love our family Christmas Eve dinner with Fondue, that’s our Christmas tradition. Thanks for the chance!
We don’t really have any special Christmas traditions. I’d love to win one of your adorable prints.
I love decorating manger scene cookies with my mom, sister and daughter.
I grew up in a blended family so we often were at our other parent’s home for Christmas so it became tradition to celebrate our family Christmas on New Year’s Eve. All four of us kids are now adults with our own families and we still all get together on New Year’s Eve for Christmas. It really reduces the stress of negotiating one more home to visit on the big day and means we get a special dinner and late night evening to celebrate together.
Well, I live in New Zealand, which is in the southern hemisphere. So for me on Christmas morning I wake up and open my window and lie still in bed for a while wondering this and that and anything at all. And brisk breezes flow in at the window and the scents of green growing things and the wet sweet earthy smells of the new summer.
Then up out of bed and quietly out of the house (so as not wake the others who are studiously dreaming away) and outside (bare foot of course) over the dewy grass that feels green and smells green and is so very, very green and down the hill to the plum orchard. We don’t have snow but we have a great many Christmas trees, all hung with red and green balls that shine like a beetle’s back if you polish them on your shirt and taste like sweet as the sunshine and fresh as the breezes and well-just exactly like my Christmas.
All the fooding! Love it!
Your handlettering prints are wonderful!
Love watching my favorite christmas movies
I love decorating the tree and going to look at Christmas lights.
Thank you so much for giving us a chance to win your beautiful and inspiring artwork! (Wish I could express myself through artwork as beautifully as you!)
My favorite Christmas tradition is watching my mother baking bon-bons! Dipping the “chocked full of sugar and butter” balls into warm melted chocolate. Mmmmmm!
Blessings to you, may you always bring joy to others through your artwork, and I’m praying you have an easy decision. :)
Have a great day,
Eliana
Beautiful work! During Christmas time, we love listening to Chrismas worship songs… Makes the house so peaceful :)
Because we live over 5000 km’s from any of our family we like to throw a giant dinner every year for all of our “Yukon Family” we have around 30 people, children that have grown up like cousins, we play games, make gingerbread houses, sing songs. it’s perfect.
We have a super fun birthday party on Christmas with a cake that has all sorts of different decorations, each with a special meaning about Jesus and our Christian walk. I love it each year.
I don’t celebrate so I don’t have a tradition.
My favorite part of Christmas is the Candlelight vigil on Christmas Eve at our parish
We always have Danish kringle on Christmas morning. My great grandmother was Danish and to me, it just wouldn’t be Christmas without having kringle before opening gifts. Thank you for the opportunity to win.
I love having a home cooked prime rib feast at the home of my friends on Christmas Day.
Mine is attending the late Christmas Eve service. We’re slowing developing some new traditions to make Christmas meaningful for our little girl.
I love all your prints, Breezy!
May I still enter even though our family doesn’t celebrate Christmas? We are thankful that Jesus came to earth to be born and die and rise again…and sometimes we eat a special meal with family around or on Dec. 25th because it’s a time off work for everyone.
I love collecting Christmas books and music, to read and play to my children. We are also doing an advent calendar this year which the kids love.
Making cookies together on the first day of Christmas break!
Every year I buy or make my immediate family a ornament, Christmas eve everyone gets to open them and hang them on the tree. The older kids take them home now after Christmas for their tree the next year. We eat a lot too which is fun. Bake and trade with neighbors, so we all have a variety!
We love doing Advent readings as a family and we do our readings in German and Englishnto honor our family’s German heritage. It’s so much fun to spend the month focused on Jesus and the gift His is to us all!
Our favorite Christmas traditions revolve around faith, family & food… We celebrate Advent with evening devotions, midweek services, a candlelight Christmas Eve service, and rejoice in Christ’s birth as we celebrate the 12 Days of Christmas with gifts and plenty of food. I am so thankful for the joy of sharing Christ’s birth and soon return with our five children! Such a happy time.
I love to spend time with the kids at home
i love digging out our Christmas picture books…we have been reading 1 or 2 every night before bedtime…so much fun thanks for a chance.
I guess I enjoy just sitting around chit-chatting with my family and loafing around the house. Thank you
My family has never kept up many traditions, but one thing we did every year was unpack our nativity set. Once I was about 10 or 11 mom I was the most artistic person in the family, so the exact arrangement was my job. If we had a tree, decorating it was my sibling’s job.
When my children were small, we attended the 4 pm children’s Christmas Eve service. My children were angels, wise men, shepherds, and sheep. Two of my chidden were born in November and they both had a turn as baby Jesus. I miss those years.
Beautiful print! Thanks for the chance.
I love to make cookies and lots of them!
I love decorating the tree together. It’s so fun to listening to music & laugh about all the memories we have for each of the ornaments.
Much Love!
Hi everyone! One of my favorite Christmas traditions is caroling with my church choir to all the shut-ins at church. Another special tradition my family has is giving books to each other on Christmas Eve! This is such a special Christmas already, I can feel it. Thank you Breezy for finding this creative way of sharing the Christmas spirit!
My favorite Christmas tradition is lazing around after opening presents on Christmas morning. Seems the only time it happens and I love every second of it.
I take my niece and nephews caroling to my neighbors and the nursing home. The kidlets talk about it all year and sometimes they will point out a house and say “they weren’t home, hope they are this year”
My favourite tradition is the actual decorating of the house. We don’t hve much, but the memories behind each item is so special for me and I look forward to sharing them with our girls!
A few years ago we started having the whole family (3 married siblings and two grandchildren) for a sleepover on Christmas Eve. It started because of a snow storm, now it’s a favorite tradition.
This will be my second year celebrating Hanukkah – and I’m excited to discover more about it and share the 8 days with people also curious about it!
My mother began a tradition that I continued and so now do my daughters. Mum put a small present for each person on the christmas tree to be opened after Christmas tea. It was something to look forward to after opening all presents in the morning.
Pauline
I love you style of art!! So very pretty. Do you illustrate books? That style is the one I love the most for illustrated books.
Anyway- what tradition do we have and love? Hot chocolate with candy canes in it for Christmas morning breakfast, trying to get all our presents stuffed inside the stockings as that is our family rule (they all must fit inside), having lots of company over for a big pasta meal and making a special braided raisin bread for breakfast.
These are so beautiful!!
We have/had so many Christmas memories that I cherish but a favorite Christmas tradition in our home was to always read the nativity story from Luke(Luke 2;1-20) right before our sweet daughter would drift off to sleep on Christmas eve. She also believed in Santa when she was really young but we made sure to teach her the real meaning of Christmas early on and now she has her own little girl to continue the tradition with.
I have always been a big fan of your amazing God-given talent Breezy so I would love to win a print from your shop! The only problem would be which one to choose as I love them all! :)
